Panorama Mountain Village

Panorama Mountain Village
Invermere British Columbia, 2008

Task: Trail Crew was contacted by the bike park manager to help in the redesign and construction of a decommissioned beginner trail, “Rocking Horse”. Trail Crew worked hands on with Panorama’s trail crew during the project. Trail Crew provided the design and layout and assisted the trail crew in implementing new techniques to help make the trail more sustainable. The project was completed on time and has become a great addition to the trail network at Panorama Mountain Village.

Result: Panorama’s trail system is more balanced with the addition of “Rocking Horse”. The trail allows beginner riders to sample a taste of single-track riding while providing them with confidence inspiring sections that let riders progress at their own pace. The addition of Rocking Horse also allows more experienced riders the ability to take a warm up run before riding the more challenging terrain Panorama is known for.
